Rosana Fernández, the new HR Chief Officer at Goal Systems

GOAL Systems, the world leader in state-of-the-art optimisation software for the transport industry, has announced the appointment of Rosana Fernández as the new Chief HR Officer.

Fernández Espeso’s appointment is a part of the process to rehaul Goal Systems’ board of directors, derived from the company’s new strategic plan to expand into new international markets through innovation and technology.

Rosana Fernández Espeso holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources. With more 25 years of experience in leading people and transforming organisations, she has worked in multinational environments in different sectors such as Legal Services, Publishing, Retail and Hospitality.

Thanks to her trajectory through various companies and her global work with teams in Europe, United States and Latin America, she has acquired numerous skills, mostly notably, talent management, career development and succession planning, as well as defining and implementing Human Capital policies, or digital HR transformation at all company levels.

Her experience has netted her different awards such as “Best Human Resources Director” in 2014, awarded by Womenalia, the biggest network of Spanish and Latin American women professionals and entrepreneurs, and “Inspiring Woman” WLMT Leadership, Diversity and Talent, recognition awarded to female professionals whose professional achievements and personal values make them an inspiration and a reference for all.

Before joining GOAL Systems, Rosana had been the Global Chief Human Resources Officer for ten years at Room Mate Group, and prior to that, she had been the Human Resources Director at SAB Miller Group. She has also held various posts as HR manager in companies such as Altadis, Linklaters and Equifax Iberica.

I’m very happy to be a part of an excellent team of professionals who make Goal Systems possible. The company is currently at a stage of transformation and expansion which will make it possible for us to continue to add outside talent, at the same time that it will allow the internal talent to keep growing. I’m very proud that I can boost the company’s new project and lead people management in the organisation, which is my passion” stated Rosana Fernández Espeso.
