The GoalSuite project, consisting of the transformation and elevation of Goal Systems products to a new Cloud environment, was one of those selected under the 2020 Call for grants on technological development based on artificial intelligence and other digital enabling technologies, within the framework of the strategic action for economy and digital society of the state R+D+i program aimed at social challenges and the state program for business leadership in R+D+i. Call that launched RED.ES (Public Business Entity attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation), through the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

The objective of GoalSuite is to create a leading solution for the optimization and management of operational planning in the transport sector through a configurable suite, which allows it to adapt to the expectations demanded by the customer and to serve the need of regulators and transport operators to access technology in a decentralized manner.

With this new operating model in the cloud, Goal Systems guarantees to offer the market the first solution for optimizing planners and transport resources, in the form of Software-as-a-Service, based on an innovative distributed and open architecture that allows its powerful calculation engine to be implemented with new proprietary and third-party client applications, creating an on-demand optimization service that is unique in the world.

More specifically, this new cloud operating model is based on six fundamental principles:

• Core common to all products, with a long-term evolution strategy aligned with the company's strategy.
• Configurability of the solution, adaptable to customer processes and extensible through specific developments.
• User-friendly in accordance with an avant-garde design paradigm that is attractive to customers and oriented to the customer.
• Product Development and Delivery Processes to customers who are robust, fast and with the required quality.
• Agile organization that makes it possible to adapt development capacity to customer demands and ensures a long-term product strategy.
• Capabilities and culture that leverage the business model and ensure effective work.

In addition, the premises of the new operating model are established:

• Cloud-First-But-Not-Only, best-in-class architecture, based on market standards (MSFT Azure) considered as a cutting-edge paradigm.
• Improved delivery model to deploy and continuously improve the product roadmap.
