The capital of Ceará is the most recent Brazilian city to trust in Goal Systems’ technology. With this project, Goal Systems consolidates its leading position in the provision of this type of technology in Brazil, since it is already present in 10 capitals and metropolitan regions, such as São Paulo, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Vitória, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, among others.
Sindiônibus, a benchmark in the collective passenger transport sector in the State of Ceará, will use Goalbus®, which will allow to plan and schedule the operation of 1,400 vehicles and more than 3,000 drivers in a much more optimised way. The tool, available in the SaaS (Software as a Service) cloud model, will simulate different operational scheduling scenarios, considering all the rules and restrictions of the sector for the allocation of buses and drivers to the transport service. Thus, the Union will be able to apply the best scenario, reconciling the interests of the managing body, the operating companies and the customers of the transport system.
With this partnership, Sindiônibus continues the constant evolution of its ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) technologies, this time integrating the worlds of planning and operation.
