Goal Systems shows its transport planning technology at the XIII edition of Innotrans

The Spanish company Goal Systems, world leader in optimisation software for the planning of the passenger transport industry, has been present at InnoTrans 2022, the world fair of railway transport technology that ended last Friday, September 23rd. The event was attended by representatives from the economic, political and scientific spheres.

The 13th InnoTrans reached record figures with 200,000 m² of exhibition space in 42 halls, 145 rail vehicles on display, 3,062 exhibitors, 62% of them from abroad.

Planning technology at the service of intelligent transport

The Spanish company, which participated in collaboration with its partners, took advantage of this important event in the sector to showcase its solutions that respond to the main requirements of the rail transport industry, such as route optimisation thanks to planning and improving the quality of life of workers in the sector. The company also presented its planning solutions for electric buses, highlighting their importance for the organisation and management of transport in a smart city.

During the fair, the company developed different demos of its technologies at its stand, such as, for example, one aimed at visualising strategic metro manoeuvres and resource planning, another on intelligent resource planning for the operation of intercity buses or a demo of its solutions for planning maritime and river transport. In addition, the role of planning technologies in achieving real intermodality was highlighted through case studies.

The Spanish company has been developing technology for passenger transport planning since 1992 in order to improve its service and make it more efficient. Thanks to the trust of its clients, Goal Systems is present in 25 countries in the 5 continents, where it helps bus, train or metro companies to improve the management of their fleets and their equipment.
