Mexico City, June 19, 2023
As part of the celebration of the 18th anniversary of Metrobús, Martí Batres, the Head of Government of Mexico City, inaugurated the new Control Center of the Metrobús System in Mexico City.
The leader highlighted the growth of Metrobús, which currently transports 1.8 million users daily, making it the second most utilized transportation within the capital city’s network.
During her speech, María del Rosario Castro Escorcia, the General Director of Metrobús, mentioned that the new Control Center allows real-time monitoring of the service provided at the stations and inside the vehicles. Additionally, we have implemented software that includes intelligent algorithms that analyze and process data in real-time, generating reports and recommendations that help optimize operations and improve the efficiency and quality of the public transportation system.
This new center features sophisticated software that integrates all Metrobús system operations into a centralized interface. This enables complete control over routes, bus frequency, and traffic management.
Over the course of 10 years, Goal Systems has been collaborating with the programming team of the Metrobús service. They are an excellent group of professionals with whom we have learned and evolved together day by day to satisfy one of the largest and most efficient transportation systems in the world.
